I’ve cre­ated some use­ful (my opin­ion) pack­ages for Open­Wrt — Ath­eros plat­form. They were not applied to the trunk, I don’t know why but you may down­load them here:

  • Ath­eros GPIO LED dri­ver — a ker­nel mod­ule which will cre­ate the /proc/gpio devices. Use­ful to con­trol the WLAN LED.
  • Ath­eros tog­gler — use the reset but­ton to enable/disable WLAN.

You can down­load both pack­ages HERE. Build­files and patch files are both included. Those files works fine for ker­nel v2.6.23.x, there might be a gen­eral GPIO tool in ker­nel v2.6.24.x but until then you may use those mod­ules.
