evre, is a service, which monitors the windows event (and system) log. you can filter the events and (for example) you can send all events, which contains a error to 1 or more mail adresses — v1.07. example output:

OR another idea, use the build.in tool:
eventtrigger.exe.. perhaps this is a better solution. together with mms.exe you can do allmost the same stuff like with evre (check the eventlog for a specified action and the send an email). i created evre when i was using windows 2000, and then there wasnt such a nice tool als eventtriger.
